Use the online controller tester as a diagnostic guide
Controller Checker is an informational diagnostic interface. Use it to inspect browser-visible input, troubleshoot a gamepad, or compare a controller before purchase or repair. Do not rely on a browser estimate as the sole basis for a safety-critical or financial decision.
You are responsible for confirming results with the controller manufacturer, operating-system tools, a supported game, or a qualified repair service when the outcome matters. A reading can be affected by firmware, drivers, remapping software, browser behavior, wireless conditions, and test technique.
Gamepad tester browser compatibility and availability
The site depends on browser Gamepad API support, operating-system permissions, controller firmware, and connection type. Features can be unavailable or behave differently across devices, and the service may change as browser standards evolve.
We may update, replace, or withdraw pages and features to correct behavior, improve security, or respond to platform changes. The site is provided as available and is not guaranteed to remain uninterrupted or compatible with every controller, browser, or operating system.
Online gamepad test results do not warrant hardware condition
A passing button, drift, polling, or vibration result means only that the browser observed the reported signal during the test. It does not certify a controller, warranty a repair, or guarantee performance in a specific game.
Likewise, a missing feature does not by itself prove a defect. Browser APIs can omit advanced haptics, motion sensors, battery state, force feedback, or device-specific reports even when they work elsewhere.
Permitted use of Controller Checker tools and content
You may use the public tools for personal diagnostics, education, reviews, support, and authorized repair work. You may link to public pages and use the published widget according to the embed interface.
Do not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, misrepresent browser estimates as certified measurements, or remove important context when presenting a result to another person.
Controller repair decisions, warranties, and limitation of liability
Opening, cleaning, modifying, or repairing a controller can cause damage and may affect its warranty. Follow the manufacturer's safety and service guidance. Controller Checker does not instruct hardware repair and is not responsible for decisions made from unverified inputs, misunderstood browser limits, third-party content, or changes performed on a device.
